About
I’m Anchal. I discovered trail running during a trek through Uttarakhand five years ago, and something clicked. The idea that your body could carry you through landscapes that most people only see in photographs.
Since then, I’ve run 8 races — from 10k fun runs to full marathons — completed 24 treks across the Himalayas and Western Ghats, and traveled through 12 countries searching for the kind of moments that stay with you.
This journal is where I document all of it. Not for an audience, but because I believe that writing something down is how you truly
understand it.
I believe that discomfort is the beginning of growth, that every summit has earned its view, and that the best conversations happen around campfires above the treeline…

Travel philosophy
“The mountains don't care about your excuses. That's exactly why I keep going back.”
Slow travel over rushing. I prefer to stay longer and see less — a town over a country, a neighbourhood over a landmark.
— 12 countries
— 6 solo trips
— Backpacking & resort
Himalayan trails are my home ground. I prefer multi-day routes with significant elevation — the kind where a porter-free pack is a badge of honour.
— 24 treks completed
— 5,029 m highest
— Solo & group
I run because it teaches me things about myself that nothing else does. I race marathons because finishing one is proof that limits are negotiable.
— 8 races
— 2 full marathons
